(Almost) growing up on a farm in Gippsland, Fiona has always been around compost, manure and cows. As soon as she could she ran away to the big city and tried to grow herbs in pots, strawberries in old eskies and lettuces in unused boots. Eventually she admitted defeat and is therefore hoping to learn a thing or two from this gardening lark. If nothing else it will provide a good story about the time she grew pumpkins in a car park.
When she’s not trying to coax life into a tomato plant or two, she runs her own graphic design business called Brand By Name.
Why write about it?
This blog hopes to be a record of successes and failures, with the odd recipe thrown in. After all, what’s all this planting and watering for, if it’s not to eat it?
